Hey everyone.
Today is a very bittersweet day. I am finally finished with my record. (Well, we still have to mix and master but I'm done!)
I'm so excited for everyone to hear it but I am also pretty bummed that I won't be in the studio any longer. It's so nice to just be selfish and play music all day. I guess I'll just have to start touring to fill the void ;)
Speaking of, I have a show this Friday at the big Stagecoach Festival in California. Country music's answer to Coachella-ella-ella (sorry, I have Umbrella in my head) I get to fly back to L.A. tomorrow (I'm in N.Y.C.) and rehearse for the Friday show. My family is coming out which will be really nice. Although I think they are really going to see The Eagles and not me.
I hope to see all you west coasters there.

awesome to hear a new album is coming out, i couldn't be happier i've been waiting for so long as you're my favourite artist. When are you coming down to tour Australia?

Hi there michelle I'm gwen..Nice to know that you have a new album coming up..I was wondering if you could help me out to the road of music..I'm seriously stressed in school with the workload and everything and its really very tempting to drop out..But in Singapore its just a requirement to get a good job..And i feel so lonely in class..Not many ppl care and its like only a handful Btw..What's your religion? I'm catholic..I guess you're a christian? Just wanted you know I am a huge fan despite being an old fart. I love your music and the fact that you write, play and sing. I am trying to encourage my grandaughter, who is 10, to listen to more people like you.
The Eagle comment was funny. Come to North Carolina sometime soon. I have beenw anting tos ee you but couldn't make it to Charlotte last time.
