Welcome to the new Michelle Branch website!!

Michelle was born seven weeks premature in Phoenix, Arizona on July 2, 1983, and was named after the Beatles' song "Michelle". Though the surname Branch is French, her father is of Irish ancestry while her mother was born in the Netherlands; her maternal grandmother was a Dutch Indonesian and was held in a Japanese internment camp during World War II, while her maternal grandfather was French and Indonesian.[1] She has an older half-brother, David, and a younger sister, Nicole.

Michelle has such a full, gorgeous tone. It's soothing to my ears. What a talented writer, too. Her songs are FUN to listen to! :) Let me know when the new album is coming, please. I love the new website! It's a lot more personal than the other one. (Although, I really liked the old Flash theme.) Ugh, I am overwhelmingly excited that Michelle's writing solo again! Not that I didn't like Jessica, it's just I think Michelle has a lot more creative freedom being on her own. I am indescribably excited for some new stuff from her to follow up Hotel Paper. There's just no guessing what it'll sound like, but I just know it'll be unbelievable. :D

It is a dream of mine for Michelle to do a cover of the Kansas song "Dust in the Wind". It is one of my fave songs and I would love her to do this. I think she would sound incredible.

I'm from a country very far away from there, Chile...and the only way that i can get news from her It's by this way, 'cause only a few people knows about Michelle's albums, even the album of The Wreckers didn't arrive here...
