I realized today that my “blog” is one year old. I started it last year on New Years Eve. Here were my resolutions for 2011 and my comments on how well I succeeded. 

~take more photos (with film!)- I did take more photos with film but not as many as I’d hoped
~practice yoga often- I did better with this too but barely. 
~finally visit Ireland-Sadly this hasn’t happened. 
~spend more evenings under the stars drinking wine and sharing meals with friends-I did this too but not nearly enough.
~learn how to embroider- Big fail on my part
~take Owen to the Natural History Museum in London to visit the dinosaurs-Hasn’t happened yet but I’m hoping it will in March.
~start a compost-I started but it’s a sorry looking sort
~get caught up on classic novels and films-I did do this! but there is always more. 

~finish new album and tour- I finished my album but it still doesn’t have a release date from my label. I toured as an opener but didn’t headline. I hope in the 2012 this all gets resolved. 

New resolutions: Pretty much the same as last year with a few new additions-

~find my new house.

I did it, guys. I found the worst tattoo in history.

I wish I had thought of this. 

Yup. I just bought these for myself. I feel like I’m 13 again. What’s next, those maroon patent leather Airwalks? I just can’t believe I didn’t save my old perfectly broken in pairs. Yes, pairs plural. What clothing trend were you all about as a kid? Would you wear it if it came back?
