album delayed yet again

i just checked on Amazon and the new album has been delayed yet again.new release date is now Feb 23rd 2010.
what the hell is going on at warner music?do they plan to release this album at all or are they just teasing us and taking Michelle on a lousy ride.Warner music should take a long hard look at themselves.Michelle and the fans do not deserve this ongoing delay with the release of this album.
I can't wait any longer !!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe if they released your album, they wouldn't have to cut back. Why would they wait to make money, dosen't make since to me. I love your music and have been looking forward to your new album all year. I don't want to wait any longer. Release a single at a time if you have to, just get it done. My I pod needs you! It might not seem like that big of deal to you but I feel really bad right now....I arranged a piano instrumental of one of your hit songs breathe and used tunecore to put it on itunes. It just went up today. After I read the copyright laws on cover songs provided by tunecore today, I now realize I have made a HUGE mistake and that I needed a mechanical license with a percent of the profit going to you on it. I have totally broken the law and I feel sooooo bad right now. PLEASE HELP ME REMOVE IT FROM ITUNES completely because it takes tunecore like a couple months to do that after I contact them. I never intended to make money off of your work in a different form. I was just being an idiot and I thought it would be cool to see my name on itunes and also assumed that nobody was going to buy it anyway. Please help me, I have fallen in love with your music ever since 2001 in 4th grade when I heard the song, "all you wanted" at a Sacramento Kings game.
I so can't wait for the release~!

i too am very disappointed and frustrated by the continual delay with the release of this new album.Michelle,if your reading this,would you consider once your contract with warner's is up,going on a independant label where you can have more of a say and more control over what happens with your future albums.
to me all Warner's have done is continually stuff you around.im sure their are other labels out there who would love to have you and who would appreciate you more and who would treat you better.
i mentioned this once before on the board and got slammed by other posters.really,give it some serious thought,you deserve so much better.

Aw that sucks a bit... I've been waiting for that album to be released. But I think that's not really a problem. I'll keep on waiting, and I would really like to extend my support to you since I'm quite a fan even since back then.
So, keep it up & we'll still be waiting and anticipating for that new album of yours ^^

You don't know me, but I know who you are. My dad met you back when you were 15, right before you became famous and he met you at Guitar Center in Phx on 28th Dr. and Peoria. You were with your dad, checkin' out new guitars and my dad was in there checkin' out guitars too (He was a musician and had 6 guitars - 2 acoustics, 3 electrics and 1 dobro; he also had three albums out on msn.com as well as somewhere else but I can't remember). He told you "Your gonna go somewhere in life. You know how to play, and your good at what you do" and encouraged you and your dad to continue to do what you were doing, as your dad explained that he was trying to get you signed on with a record label. My dad has since passed away, he committed suicide, but he always liked you and encouraged me to be like you. I just wanted to tell you - you still have direct connections to AZ and I really appreciate what you do and how well you do it. I love your music and I wish you nothing but the best. BTW The name Michelle Rocks Lol!

well i really hope this is read by who ever!
you know for the past year or what ever we have been hearing these new songs played live have been given pictures to look at then a teaser of the album with "this way" and all brought the song "sooner or later" and even listening to a bad quility podcast of "long goodbye" we have sat and listened to michelle branch on the radio youtubed her videos come to the website waiting for new info on the album, i never hear of a release date all we hear for the last year is michelle branch saying we have pushed the album back because we want to make it perfect she has asked for your ideas on bonus packages asked you to vote for her and her songs , for what an open letter saying that this album has been pushed back again from the 10th of november to when ever she decides to put it back on and she expects us to wait and wait and wait well i belive michelle branch does not give her fans any kind of respect we have all waited we have all suported and now we must wait long
all i'm saying is i'm so bored of waiting i'm so bored and now i've lost all momentum for this album and think that she should for get about it i think she has let everyone down with delaying it till further notice and shouldn't make us wait anymore or as i said forget it.

Your frustration is valid. But think about what it must be like for her. I don't think it would make sense that SHE is the one postponing the release, do you? This is her career, her way of making a living. If it were under her complete control, the album probably would've been released a year and a half ago. But she is in a business where she has to compromise and work as a team with others. She has a boss. Be upset with her boss, if anyone, right? :) While we all wait for her next album to come out, let's just enjoy what is already out there. :)

I found out about the delay BEFORE even coming on your site...I was on Amazon.com and saw the release date as Jan. 2010 and said NO WAY, it's suppose to be out in November! That sucks big time, but that's ok...everything happens for a reason, besides alotta artist's have albums coming out in Nov.!! I want you to get ALL the recognition for yours :-) "Sigh", guess I'll have to keep coming on here to hear your songs until then...gotta get my 'Chelle" fix, lol!!!! Hey you should talk more about being an organ donor, I'd like to hear more about that because I'm a "possible" candidate for my dad. Take care for now!

OMG- it's ok. that's what i'm thinking.... thanks you and ur label did that ----- album delayed because NOvember 2009 is not gonna be right for the album to be release because Taylor swift re released of Fearless platinum edition will be on Oct 27, Carrie underwood's Play it on will be Nov. 3, southern voice of tim mcgraw, Battle studies of John mayer, album of norah jones and avril lavigne is also next month so u really made the right decision....in that case you have 90% chance to deubt at #1 on bilboard 200 and Country albums charts
im sad bec Sooner or later is still #49- im hoping it can climb the country charts to top 30 or top 20
i advice u michelle that ur next single will be long goodbye and u can release it next month up to Dec so that it will be nominated for the 2010 grammys for Best country collaboration with vocals bec i have faith that u will win the award u and dwight--trust me.....

wtf? i certainly hope all labels go bankrupt! you should quit warner, call your friend who lost his job, record your own albums with him, sell them online and eventually get more than 5% the revenue. how i hate the music industry - and i'm not even an artist. it's a bunch of 19th century jackasses, honestly...

For anyone who reads this I just wanted to say that my husband Dave & I got to meet Michelle and her husband Teddy last week at KUPL radio in Portland and they were so great! Michelle, you are so fun and kind, and what an amazing live performance you gave of your new song Summertime (one of my faves) from the new upcoming CD. SPOT ON!!! Being a singer/ songwriter myself, I have always included Michelle Banch as one of my influences and I was just so impressed with this 26 year old woman's talent, grace and intellect. She is a seasoned pro already and we both were so honored to get to hang out with her on the air and chat. So thanks for being you M- and here's to another long run of hits and success in the country world! Oh & we hope you and Teddy get home to see your precious daughter soon- she must miss ya'll so much. Have a ball out there 'cause YOU deserve it!
